Solution
even morelegible Laws
Thanks to refreshing the website, the Laws of the Game are presented in a clear and even more legible way.
All the latest information about the IFAB, up-to-date information on the current tasks of the organisation, and all documents relevant to referees & other stakeholders around the world are easy to follow.
We introduced a new, highly requested section on concussion substitutes, which is updated regularly on participating Football Associations.
Problem
modern transparentgoverning body
How to share the Laws of the Game and all information related to The IFAB's activities in a transparent & modern way?
Several years after the premiere of our first website for The IFAB, we learned a lot about user expectations regarding usability, functionality and user-friendliness. The website needed to be refreshed so that the design and functionalities would also keep up with the changes in the organization itself. The goal was to reflect The IFAB's core values - transparency, accountability and inclusivity.
our contribution
what we have donefor this project
We developed the first and now the second version of the website in the history of The IFAB. Our goal was to improve the user experience when browsing football laws, changes, and other documents.
The new UX allows for quickly finding football laws, changes, and other documents needed for the work of a referee, player, journalist, or simply for fans who are looking for detailed information. The laws are adjusted with underlined text, explanation of changes compared to last season, appropriate linking, and FAQs section. All the latest information about the IFAB, up-to-date information on the current tasks of the organisation, and all documents relevant to referees & other stakeholders around the world are easy to follow.
The new website reflects now two seasons of football laws from the mobile app because in different countries the football season starts in different months. Easy switching between seasons and remembering the selected one achieves the goal. We introduced a new section on concussion substitutes, which is updated regularly on participating Football Associations.
The football world never sleeps. Our support for the IFAB means that we are always available to make any necessary changes and improvements.
