It is also one of the most recognizable financial institutions in Poland, serving about 1,000 domestic and foreign issuers.

Problem
easier tradingfor individual investors
Warsaw Stock Exchange wanted to make personal trading easier. The goal was to provide individual investors with complete data, statistics, indicators and live price-change notifications for the companies listed on the Main Market, NewConnect and Catalyst.
To do this, it was crucial to aggregate data from various sources through advanced backend technology – including merging diverse listings, reporting, key data and other indicators with market activity, latest news, and WSE Investor Relations, among others.
Solution

With each version of the official GPW app, the users could enjoy more advanced functions for their daily trading, starting with the key function of following their listings, through having their own wallets, setting up advanced alarms on particular tickers, and others.
The latest 4.0 version of the app introduces still a number of new features and improvements including:
- new search engine for improved search of all the instruments listed on GPW;
- new notifications tab to read and set up all the alerts in one place;
- new event calendar in the markets tab;
- new layout for even easier tracking of listings;
- improvements to the company card like adding transactions, dividends and events.

The GPW app is used by about 10,000 people a day, which is a testament to its usefulness and handiness. The average time spent in the app is 3 minutes, and the total number of downloads reaches 50,000.
The application is available for iOS and Android in two language versions: Polish and English. It is designed for smartphones and tablets.

The mobile application and the backend are constantly monitored and analysed. We also pay attention to reviews and comments from users so that we can adjust the app to suit their needs.
